Dedicated to the memory of Atalanti Meyer

This site is a tribute to Lanti. She was a wonderful and devoted mum to Andy, Nick, Jo and Stef and a fabulous granny.  She will be greatly missed by loved ones, friends and family.  Her smile and laughter will be forever with us.  How lucky we were to have known you.

Thoughts

Dear Andy, Nick, Jo, and Stef, We send our deepest sympathy for your loss. The last time we (Sasha's first and only meeting) saw Lanti was around 1985 when we were passing through London. Lanti took us to visit Gabs in hospital and then we joined Lore for dinner (at Wheeler's?). This was exactly how I (Marion) always have and always will rememberl Lanti. She was the one who kept everyone together - whether for Sunday lunch or making sure we were able to meet with Gabs and Lore. The photos in the gallery show the many, many happy times you all shared with Lanti. These are the memories that will stay with you. Sincerely, Marion and Sasha

Dear Andy, Nick, Jo and Stef, We want to share our deep sadness over your loss and our admiration for the way that you all cared for Lanti both before and during her illness. I only remember Lanti from many years ago -- I believe I last saw her at Eric and Akiko’s wedding in NY -- so I never experienced her during her illness. But she is a strong presence in my memories and Mel’s as well of visits to London as a fun-loving companion to Gabs, a consummate host and skilled cook, and as an engaged and lively mother who really enjoyed her children. I know that you are and will continue to miss her and I hope that the small funeral and the other online activities will help to bring you some solace. The musical selections are wonderful. We are thinking of you. Sending love, Susie Hoffman and Mel Grizer
